The rainbow sprinkles stay perfectly intact through baking, giving every slice those bright funfetti pops without bleeding into the crumb. My kids went quiet for a full five minutes after the first bite, which says everything.
The vanilla cake layer bakes up tall and fluffy, and the rainbow sprinkles add that perfect crunch without turning mushy. I made it for a Sunday dessert and the whole pan disappeared before dinner was even over.
The sprinkles stay suspended through the batter instead of sinking to the bottom, which makes every slice look like a proper party. It rose into a tall, sturdy layer that held up to stacking without crumbling, and the vanilla flavor is genuinely fluffy rather than cloying.
